The new year is always full of resolutions. Resolved to create a calendar. Certainly one of the reasons we live in the Farmingtiin Valley is to watch and enjoy the change of seasons. Combining this change with the notion of taking monthly pictures from one spot drew me to my family's favorite rock outcropping on the East River Road. A spot where we had picnicked, sketched, fished and spent great times together. The day was spectatcularly cold and bright. Camera in hand I searched for the perfect view and landmarks so I could exactly replicate the location throughout the coming twelve months. Camera position was important and footing was disregarded. Wasn't too long before down went David, camera and all. Another resolution postponed!
